This will cover both hereditary arms of early US presidents and also granted arms to recent ones.  

Mr. McMillan is President of the American Heraldry Society (www.americanheraldry.org). 

A career civil servant with over 28 years of service in the Department of Defense, he is a

senior research fellow at the Institute for National Strategic Studies.
